| Keywords: Testing an idea for a deck rail on the front half of the boat. I don't think the upper side support on this boat is thick enough to screw the rail solid. Possible change on for the next build. I left the mess all over the boat to show the reality of boat building. You can see the heater's chimney in the upper right corner of the picture. In the upper left, you can see the wood strip at the corner of the deck and cabin. Another possible change for the next build is to glue fairly large blocks with a 45 degree angle in that corner to help lessen the boxy shape of this boat.
