| Keywords: mars cheese castle wisconsin dairy blassila outdoor I've driven past this place over and over again for years since I was a kid and swore one day I would stop in to see what the Mars Cheese Castle was all about. I remember when they had a smaller store just off the highway. A new castle was built and the store expanded a great deal. I couldn't be more disappointed with my visit. The exterior is kind of cool but when you enter you will be surprised at how small it is in the inside. We sampled some cheeses, pretty decent, general store was all tourist crap, including all the candy and sweets. My wife and I ordered food, it took 25 minutes, and 20 bucks for two sandwiches and horrible potato salad. Pint of tap beer, Miller Lite, $4.50!! More expensive than here in Chicago. Trader Joe's sell all the same stuff for alot less $$. Skip the stop here when your traveling through Wisconsin.
