Strangely enough, yes. Accepting that even professional photographers don't walk round with 500mm lenses all the time, I was still gutted to be only carrying my compact when I was treated to an interesting plane flying overhead. The pixel peepers amongst you should quickly recognise the unmistakable lines of an Airbus A300-600ST 'Beluga'. It collects parts from the Airbus plant at Hawarden, and sometimes flies an approach over Liverpool. I guess today was one of those times.
