One of the Year 10 GSCE Science classes is looking at emulsifiers, and they decided that a good way to learn about them was to whizz up to the food room and have a bash at making some mayonnaise. I think it was ambitious by anyone's standards, and I'm not sure anyone managed it, though some got close. It was certainly fun though, and I think that was a big part of the point.
