| Keywords: bubble texture outdoor So recently I bought a new camera for my deep space pursuits, a QHY12 One shot colour CCD and it’s a totally different ballgame! It’s cooled to -15 degrees c while it takes the exposures. This is my third attempt at imaging with it and I’ve finally come to grips with the process. As a scientific camera, the data is much harder to process than a normal photo. My first few attempts were pretty ordinary! I won’t go into the boring nerdy details now but I am happy with this quick (20 minutes) of data, stacked with dark frames. I’ve never been able to get this dust detail before and I’m really excited to see it there!
