Batteries are categorised into e.g. A, AA, AAA, C, D etc
With a medium to large range of batteries in the store, it would be helpful if the store could place some signage strips that categorise the batteries into their respective types.
This signages had been researched, approved by western management and installed in a billion dollar industry: Coles Supermarkets
and
Woolworths Supermarkets
as evidenced in this blog post here <- (click this link)
Please kindly provide excellent customer service by installing such signs at your nation wide stores.
Statistics: e.g. 10 customers buy batteries in one day at one store spending 3 minutes each searching for the right battery type, multiply by 50 stores nationwide, multiply by the potential lifespan of officeworks e.g. 100 years or longer
= 10 customers * 3mins *50 stores *100 years *365 days
=54750000mins or
104 years of Australian time spent searching for batteries type which
could be spent instead in:
spending time with their loved ones, playing with your babies, having fun,
spending money, buying stuff, earning more money, etc
I wish better signages could be installed in Officeworks. Although i know nothing
would change due to interesting politically correct reasons.
Implementation of potentially good ideas cost money that lowers the profits of the company, and salary and bonus of management.
If things goes wrong and the idea does not generate a return, the person implementing the idea have to bear all the blame.
Thus it is always safe to be lamb.
