Empress Maria Theresia monument at the Maria-Theresien-Platz in Vienna during an overcast spring day.  The Maria Theresia monument is one of the most important monuments of the Habsburg monarchy in Vienna. The statue commemorates Empress Maria Theresa, the ruler of the Habsburg monarchy from 1740 to 1780.
