A recovered ancient fresco on display at the Aarhus Cathedral in Denmark, used to educate people who could not read, depicting the Christian concept of heaven, earth and hell, top to bottom. \nAarhus Cathedral's walls were originally covered with murals, but during the Reformation, they were whitewashed. Gradually several of the paintings have been been uncovered. Despite the loss, it is the church in Denmark that has the largest area of frescoes.

The scene is interesting as it depicts ancient styles and costumes from hundreds of years the Thai ago that would have been the common look every day at that time.
