The Colosseum, also known as Coliseum or the Flavian Amphitheatre, is located next to the Roman Forum in the center of the city of Rome, Italy. It is the largest amphitheatre ever built and was constructed between AD 72-80 by emperors Vespasian and Titus. Sightseeing tourists and blue sky are also in the image.

Rome, Italy, January 29 -- A view of the archaeological area of the Teatro di Marcello (Theatre of Marcellus), between the Jewish Ghetto and the Campidoglio (the Roman Capitol Hill). The theater of Marcellus it's still partially preserved, built on the orders of the emperor Augustus in the southern area of Campo Marzio. The arch is 21 m high, 25.9 m wide and 7.4 m deep. It has three archways, the central one being 11.5 m high and 6.5 m wide and the lateral archways 7.4 m by 3.4 m each.
