Barn Owls are pale overall with dark eyes. They have a mix of buff and gray on the head, back, and upperwings, and are white on the face, body, and underwings.
In a small area of vacant land in Southern California, burrowing owls flock together by the roadside.  As trucks pass by, and planes fly to and from the Ontario Airport, these owls resort to this small piece of lasting native land.  The highways, airports, and other infrastructures have driven these small owls to a small piece of land, a perfect example of humans disrupting nature.  In their den, these three burrowing owls nervously watch the camera.
