Besides the water, it is thought that materials such as gravel carried by the stream erode the rocks. Many of the small ponds in this area are filled with pebbles brought by the water. The water entering the crack systems of the valley opened by earthquake faults has been grinded like a mill by strong currents and the pebbles it carries and has created such extraordinary shapes over thousands of years. The rocks you will see when you visit Taşyaran are called Gneiss in geology. Metamorphic rocks that are formed due to metamorphosis of igneous or sedimentary rocks. These rocks, which were formed as granite at a depth of kilometers, managed to rise to the surface with great tectonic movements and erosions that took place over time and transformed into gneiss by transforming.$
