In this photo, a poison arrow frog called Ranitomeya Imitator is shown.  This frog morph is from the lowlands of Peru.  The amphibian in the photo is seen on a red and yellow heliconia flower.  The frog has blue dotted legs and feet, while the body is black, yellow and orange.  This is a very small colorful and rare frog found only in Peru.  This frog was found and photographed in the wild.

Banded Sea Snake Laticauda colubrina on a outer reef swimming to surface, looking for fresh water. Sea Snakes need to drink fresh water and regularly come onto land for that purpose. The Banded Sea Snake Laticauda colubrina occurs in tropical Indo-Pacific. Males maximum length 88 cm, females 142 cm. The Banded Sea Snake is often seen in large numbers in the company of hunting parties of giant trevally (Caranx ignobilis) and goatfish. Their cooperative hunting technique is similar to that of the moray eel, with the Snakes flushing out prey from narrow crevices and holes. \nThis specimen was encountered in the Triton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, 3°55'0.7321 S 134°6'7.7298 E.

An Endangered (IUCN 3.1) Atelopus Seminiferus toad is seen on a moss covered branch. This toad is endemic to Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and rivers.  This toad is rarely seen in the wild. The patterns and color ranges on the body and leg is unique.  This toad is only 5 cm long. In this photo the frog is wild.

The Line-Spot Harptail Blenny, Meiacanthus grammistes, is a small fish that is found in the western Pacific Ocean. It is a member of the family Blenniidae, which also includes blennies, gobies, and dragonets.\n\nThe Line-Spot Harptail Blenny is a small fish, typically growing to only about 4 inches in length. It has a slender body with a pointed snout and a long, continuous dorsal fin. The body is brown with three broad black stripes that run from the head to the tail. The stripes break up into black spots on the tail base and tail fin. The head is yellow, and there is a white-edged black spot on the pectoral fin base.\n\nThe Line-Spot Harptail Blenny is a venomous fish. It has a pair of grooved canine teeth in the lower jaw that are connected to venom glands. The venom is used for defense, and it can cause pain and swelling in humans.\n\nThe Line-Spot Harptail Blenny is a territorial fish. It lives in small groups and defends its territory from other fish. It is an omnivore, and its diet consists of small crustaceans, worms, and algae.

Ranitomeya imitator “Chazuta” are yellow, blue, and black in color.  The Ranitomeya, Chazuta is a small frog.  This colorful small frog is an imitator.  It is not a poison arrow frog however, it imitates the color patterns of a poison arrow frog.  In this photo, the frog is seen on a red flower.
