Lubango (formerly Sá da Bandeira), Huila Province, Angola: Lubango railroad station, largest station in the Moçâmedes / Namibe Railway, is a railway line operated by the government owned company 'Caminhos de Ferro de Moçâmedes'. It represents a transport connection between the port of Moçâmedes and the hinterland and serves as a transport route for the mineral resources mined there, especially ores. The route runs from the coastal town of Moçâmedes, the end point is the town of Menongue (until 1975 Serpa Pinto) in Cuando-Cubango province. At 756 kilometres long, it is the second longest railway line in Angola.
