Before the actual start of the annual main Toronto Caribana, or summer carnival, parade in the marshalling area for parade floats, these friends take time for a photo while resting in the shade on the back of a truck. These moments are often as interesting as the main parade activity on the parade floats. Toronto Caribana is a major North Amercan human rights, diversity and cultural event for Caribbeans, African Canadians and Black Americans, attracting many tourists and visitors.
