Ouidah / Whydah / Ajuda, Atlantique Department, Benin: 'Historic City of Ouidah' - once a major port in the Atlantic slave trade, it served as one of the main points of embarkation for enslaved Africans. Today, Ouidah is renowned for its cultural significance, blending African traditional religions, particularly Vodun (Voodoo), with Christianity and Islam.
