The Château de Vêves dates largely from around 1410 and is classified as Major Heritage of Wallonia. It stands on a rocky platform just outside the village of Celles, in the province of Namur.

However, she did not see the end of it since she died in 1499.\n1531 Jean de Laval-Chateaubriant is appointed Governor of Brittany, he will take over the works and will build a second building.\n1532 Brittany is definitively attached to the kingdom of France\n1543 Jean de Laval-Chateaubriant dies, Anne de Montmorency inherits the castle\n1790 The castle is sold as a national property during the revolution\n1853 The castle of Chateaubriant is bought by the General Council of Loire-Atlantique
