Namutoni Fort (Old Fortress of the German Schutztruppe) at Etosha National Park in Kunene Region, Namibia. It was built in 1896 as a German police post and used as a prison for English prisoners during World War I.  Destroyed in 1904 during the Battle of Namutoni, it was rebuilt a year later and declared a monument in 1947, and restored in 1957. The Qantara Mosque, also known as Al-Madhoun Mosque, was built some 162 years ago during the Ottoman era and its building style is inspired from Abbasid architecture, that gives the impression of being ancient. When he arrived in Taif, his call to Islam was not only robustly rejected, he was also followed on his way back to Makkah, and had stones thrown at him until he reached Al-Mathnah Valley, where he rested for a while.\nThis area was known for its fruits. A Christian Iraqi farmer from Nineveh, Addas, who was serving a rich family originating from Makkah, approached the sad Prophet and offered him a bowl of grapes. The Prophet took the grapes and before starting to eat the fruit, said: “In the name of Allah.” This phrase the worker had not heard before and sparked his curiosity. “People here do not say that,” he said and the Prophet explained to Addas what the phrase meant.
