The dolphins of Monkey Mia have been swimming close to shore each morning for over 40 years, in one of the best wild dolphin interactions in the world. Park Rangers feed up to 4 dolphins a small amount of fish each day (less than 10% of their total daily intake), to ensure they continue to behave and hunt naturally. The Monkey Mia dolphins have been crucial to providing researchers with invaluable insight into their ecology, genetics, social structures and more.
