Tuskeegee is a little town in Alabama that has for the past century been largely Afluent African American in population. This is an example of one of the beautiful houses that dates to the turn of the last century that you can find there. Tuskeegee is home of the famous Tuskeegee Institute, as well as the Tuskeegee Airmen who served during WW2.

Just slightly over 300 uniquely designed and painted gingerbread house are located in the Town of Oaks Bluff on Martha's Vineyard, MA. These house began to appear during the late 1800's as a Methodist Camp religious retreat. Members of the church sought a place to gather and worship and built these homes for use during the summer. These homes are whimsical in design, color and decoration.

The Winchester Mystery House is a mansion in San Jose, California, that was once the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearm magnate William Wirt Winchester. Located at 525 South Winchester Blvd. in San Jose, the Queen Anne Style Victorian mansion is renowned for its size, its architectural curiosities, and its lack of any master building plan. It is a designated California historical landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
