Ezekiel was a sixth century prophet. He received oracles from God and passed them on to the people. One of his visions was of the four living creatures around the throne of God. He also saw the valley of dry bones and God restoring flesh to those bones symbolizing the restoration of Israel. The prophecies of Ezekiel included judgment upon Judah, judgment against surrounding nations, and restoration of Israel.
