The Eremitage Palace or Eremitage Hunting Lodge (Danish: Eremitageslottet or Eremitagen) is located in Dyrehaven north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The statue was erected by Copenhagen Municipality back in the year 1902 - 122 years ago! The statue was made by sculptor Wilhelm Bissen (1836-1913) and the statue has to this day been permanently placed on the public square Højbro Plads in the center of the city.
