This is the King of Spades from a pack of cards produced by Charles Goodall in 1897 to celebrate Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, 60 years as Queen of Britain and its overseas dominions. The court cards (picture cards) display former monarchs of Britain, along with their names and dates, and this pack was issued without a joker. This King is shown as George III of England (1738 - 1820). There is a link below to the portrait of Queen Victoria that appears on the reverse of each card; and to the other spades court cards: .
