Opened in 2012 by Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubilee, the Royal Air Force Bomber Command Memorial is located in Green Park and is an open free public memorial which commemorates RAF Bomber Command which was active during World War 2. It was designed to honour the 55,573 aircrew from Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Czechoslovakia, Poland and other allies who were killed.

The flight deck curve of HMAS Canberra, one of two Amphibious Assault Ships of the Royal Australian Navy.  She is docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour.   The colourful objects under to the Australian flag on the flight deck of HMAS Canberra are ship's flags to be deployed over the ship for the public open day the next day, as part of Navy Week.  The crown on top of the flagpole means the flotilla commander is based on this ship.  One of her six 12.7mm machine guns has the barrel uncovered and pointing out in the direction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Haverfordwest, Wales - November 23, 2022: Studio shot of obsolete British one penny, half penny and farthing coins. The latter two were originally cut from a one penny coin, either into halves or quarters (fourthings). The farthing was phased out in 1960 and the larger penny and the mid-sized half penny went after UK decimalisation in 1971.
The insignia next to the bridge of HMAS Hobart, a Hobart Class destroyer of the Royal Australian Navy docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour.  The captain's chair has the same insignia affixed to the back.  The lion in the centre of the shield appears on the State flag of Tasmania, where the capital is Hobart.
