The Tuileries Palace ,Palais des Tuileries, was a royal palace in Paris which stood on the right bank of the River Seine until 1871, when it was destroyed in the upheaval during the suppression of the Paris Commune. It closed off the western end of the Louvre courtyard, which has remained open since the destruction of the palace.

Rome, Italy: Trajan's Market - the large brick building, viewed by historian as an ancient multi-purpose building, was built during the time of Emperor Trajan. It has six floors and the building was designed in a semicircle. The construction was probably started under Domitian (81-96 AD) and then continued and completed under Trajan (98-117 AD). The Trajan's Markets were created in 100–110 AD in connection with the Trajan's Forum, but as an independent complex. The architect named is Apollodorus of Damascus, who was also responsible for the Trajan Forum.
