A bale of hay often found in a rectangular shape. Also comes in a cylindrical shape. It's a bundle of dried grass and straw and other plant materials that are tightly compressed and bound together with a twine or  wire. The bale of hay generally weighs between 40 and 100 pounds. Hay bale are commonly used as feed for  livestock such as horses, cows and sheep. Also use for bedding or other sources of insulation in construction.
