This image shows a vintage propeller plane being flown by one of the Tuskegee Airmen.  The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American military aviators in the United States armed forces.

The P-40 Flying Tigers, with their shark teeth paint motif,  were made famous by the American Volunteer Group during WWII.  The image shows a straight on rear view perspective of this well known combat aircraft.   The aircraft is parked and the engine is still.
