Built in 1871, Fallasburg Bridge lies within what is now known as the Fallasburg Pioneer Village. It has lattice work trusses made of white pine timber. As in all covered bridges, the roof and siding serve to protect the bridge timbers from rot. Repairs in 1905 and 1945 have kept the bridge safe for traffic for one hundred years.
Sugar Creek is a tributary of the Wabash River in Indiana.  It travels about 93 miles prior to reaching the Wabash River in Montezuma.  Two state parks, Turkey Run and Shades State Parks are on the Sugar Creek which are notable for it's canyons and small waterfalls in this rocky terrain.  Several Covered Bridges cross it's waters.
Fall Color Foliage Hits Cuyahoga Valley National Park
This 97 foot burr truss covered bridge has several names.  The most common is Gristmill  bercause there is a grist mill just down river.  The other names are the Canyon, The Scott Bridge and the Alden Bryan Bridge.  You should call the Jeff Town Clerk.  The Bridge is built over the Brewster River and is just off Rt 108. No one knows for sure when it was built, but 1870 is a good guess.  The bridge was rehabed in 2004.

Covered bridges are unique in their nostalgic connections to better days gone by.  The combination of enduring functional use, reminiscent associations and visual beauty made Indiana significant state treasures.  Built in 1877, crosses the Mississinewa River in Grant County.
