Card games
These are the four aces and the back / reverse of Four Continents pack of cards by Bernhard Dondorf of Frankfurt aM. (The reverse is printed with DONDORF FRANCFORT.) Each suit sign is assigned a different continent. Clubs represent Africa,  diamonds represent America, hearts Europe and spades Asia.  Each ace has two landscape scenes representing their part of the world. The ace of clubs shows coconut palms and Lake Moeris in Egypt. The ace of diamonds has the Niagara Falls and South American Pampas. The ace of hearts has an Italian forest and a German medieval castle, while spades display the Great Wall of China and palm trees in Delhi, India. These are Dondorf's Patience Cards No. 27. They were supplied by Intercol London.
