10.03.2024 Warsaw, Poland. The Monument to Jan III Sobieski with green trees on a sunny day at Lazienki Park in Warsaw, Poland. It was designed by André Le Brun, the court sculptor of King Stanisław August, and the contractor was Franciszek Pinck. The monument was ceremoniously unveiled on September 14, 1788, on the 105th anniversary of the victory at Vienna.

This bronze equestrian statue located on the Place d'Armes in front of the Palace of Versailles was designed by two different artists, Pierre Cartellier created the horse, and his son-in-law, Louis Petitot designed the rider. The two elements were cast in bronze by Charles Crozatier in 1838.

It was built 1732-1734 and shows Elector Friedrich August I, better known as August the Strong, in Roman armor. The monument is gilded and shows the famous ruler riding on a rising Lipizzaner stallion in an easterly direction.
