It can be found on the east side of the park between 7000-11000 feet on rocky and talus slopes.  The plant has tufted stems with pinnated leaves. The basal leaves are very hairy with stiff whitish hairs. The flowers have 4 white, spoon-shaped petals in a raceme.  The sepals are hairy.
