This castle is visible from the outside, without entrance fee. Built between the 14th and 15th centuries, this medieval castle overlooks a lake in the commune of Campénéac. First owned by the Trécesson family, it passed to René Le Prestre de Châteaugiron at the end of the 18th century. Sold to Mr. Bourelle de Sivry, Paymaster General of the Republican armies, the fortress passed from family to family through inheritance. Private property classified as a historical monument, the castle of Trécesson and its ghostly legends will make you shiver... There are already pictures of this castle on the site, but this picture was taken in autumn.
