Tianshan Tianchi is a quintessential attraction in Xinjiang. The park is located within Fukang, Changji Prefecture, about 110 kilometers from the Xinjiang capital of Ürümqi. Tourists from many other places who visit the park set out from Ürümqi. The surface of Tianchi Lake reflects the cloud-wreathed Bogda Peak. From mid-November until late March, the scenic area holds the “Tianshan Tianchi Ice and Snow Festival.” During this time, guests can go to nearby ski slopes to enjoy skiing and other ice- and snow-related activities.
