A street name plate, in English and Arabic, in the district of Jabal Amman in the capital of Jordan.  In Arabic it identifies a particular sub-district of Jabal Amman. Plates in this style appear on walls throughout the city.  In the background is the Inter-Continental Hotel (left) and a high-rise building (right).
