The Helles Memorial serves the dual function of Commonwealth battle memorial for the whole Gallipoli campaign and place of commemoration for many of those Commonwealth servicemen who died there and have no known grave. The United Kingdom and Indian forces named on the memorial died in operations throughout the peninsula, the Australians at Helles.

A person passing the ruined gatehouse of Bungay Castle in Bungay, Suffolk, Eastern England. The Norman castle keep was built by Hugh Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, in 1165 with the gatehouse being constructed around the late 13th century. 80 kilometers from Kayseri, it is home to interesting rock formations used as dovecotes, caves, shelters, churches and monasteries. As a very old settlement, it is famous for its churches from the Roman period. The most famous of these churches are; St. Barbara (Tahtalı), Karabaş, Kubbeli and Yılanlı churches. The settlement in this sheltered valley, where Christians chose to settle in the 4th century to keep their faith alive, is also intertwined with historical ruins. The people of Soğanlı, who welcome their guests with a smiling face, have another feature: they are the creators of the handmade Soğanlı dolls, each more beautiful than the other, with their colorful clothes and beads. These dolls made of cloth are very popular.
