IC1396, better known as the Elephant Trunk Nebula is a combination of dust and ionized interstellar gases located about 2400 light years from Earth in the constellation of Cepheus. The image shown here is using a modified version of the Hubble Palette. The redder regions having higher concentrations of SII gas, the cyan regions being made up of primarily OIII gas while the overall green/gold and representing much of the detail is Ha gas. The star color is from RGB broadband at 60 second exposures, and the narrowband nebula detail are 900 second captures for a total of 48 hours of acquisition time.\n\nThis image was captured using amateur astrophotography equipment including a Skywatcher 80mm telescope, a QHY269M monochrome camera and a seven position filter wheel containg Red, Green, Blue, Hydrogen Alpha, Oxygen III and Sulphur II filters. Tracking was done using an iOptron CEM70G mount and PHD2 guiding software. It was entirely processed using PixInsight.
NGC 6946, sometimes referred to as the Fireworks Galaxy, is a face-on intermediate spiral galaxy with a small bright nucleus, whose location in the sky straddles the boundary between the northern constellations of Cepheus and Cygnus. Its distance from Earth is about 25.2 million light-years.

Many small, white flowers of the Common Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), comprising a single inflorescence, growing in the margins of an agricultural field in central Scotland. The species is native to many areas in the northern hemisphere and has been used by many peoples both to feed livestock and because its essential oils contain many medicinal properties and include the painkiller aspirin.

The Milky Way, as seen in the night sky over New Zealand. Two shooting stars can be seen streaking across the sky.
The Milky Way is our galaxy. This long exposure astronomical photograph of the nebula Cygnus is taken in the middle of the night in Finland.
Small, rather slender Tree, with smooth silvery-gray Branches. Leaves pinnate, with 5-7 pairs of oblong toothed leaflets, green, hairy beneath. Flowers 8-10mm, in domes clusters.\nHabitat: Woodland, Hedgerows, Moors and Mountains to 2400m, mainly on light Soils. \nFlowering Season: May-June.\nDistribution: Western Europe, except the far North.\n\nThis is a common Species in the Netherlands. Also planted in Parks.

Pillars of Creation inside M16, The Eagle Nebula
The Eagle Nebula, also known as Messier 16 or M16, consists of a star cluster and many emission nebulae and dark nebulae, in the direction of the constellation the Serpent. It’s the location of several famous structures including the Pillars of Creation. The Eagle Nebula was named for its shape, which resembles that of an eagle. It is part of a larger H II region designated as IC 4703, which is a diffuse emission nebula approximately 7,000 light years from Earth.
