İstanbul,Turkey-September 13,2024:It is one of the oldest arcades in Istanbul. \nBelow the building there are 24 shops arranged in the Parisian style, which was fashionable at the time, and above there are 18 luxury apartments. For this reason, the passage was called “Hristaki Passage” and the building was called “Cite de Pera”. In 1908, when the ownership of the building was transferred to Grand Vizier Sait Pasha, the passage was named “Sait Pasha Passage”.\nAfter a while, florists settled in the passage and started to use it as a flower auction place. Therefore, the name was changed to “Flower Passage”.\nToday, there are more restaurants, shops and various shops.
Galleria Umberto I is a public shopping gallery in Naples, southern Italy. It is located directly across from the San Carlo opera house. It was built between 1887–1891, and was the cornerstone in the decades-long rebuilding of Naples — called the Risanamento — that lasted until World War I. Designed by Emanuele Rocco, who employed modern architectural elements reminiscent of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. The Galleria was named for Umberto I, King of Italy at the time of construction. It was meant to combine businesses, shops, cafes and social life with private space in the apartments on the third floor.\nThe building is part of the UNESCO listing of the Historic Centre of Naples as a World Heritage Site.
