Setúbal, Portugal: Bofors 40mm L/60 automatic gun on a warship - the 40  mm Bofors L/60 is an anti-aircraft gun designed by the Swedish gunmaker Bofors in the early 1930s . It was designed as a versatile intermediate cannon. Its initial version was called 40L60, because the tube has a theoretical length equal to 60 times the caliber. It was manufactured in Sweden by the Bofors company itself, but also licensed in many other countries. It achieved a prestigious status thanks to his efficiency and great success during the London defence of the Battle of Britain. Contrary to the name, the production Bofors 40 mm Automatic Gun L/60 has an actual barrel length of 56.25 calibres. \n\nPortuguese Navy F475 NRP João Coutinho corvette, open day for public visit.

Ulsan, South Korea - March 17th, 2024: An artillery gun is prominently displayed on the deck of the Ulsan Frigate at the Jangsaengpo Whale Museum, with the bridge and radio tower visible in the background, showcasing the vessel's formidable defense capabilities.
One crew member is raising two maritime flags, while the other watches or assists, on the bridge of USS Canberra (LCS 30), an Independence Class combat ship of the US Navy which is docked at Garden Island in Sydney Harbour.  She was in port for her commissioning ceremony on 22 July 2023.  As part of the ceremony, her captain was presented with a kangaroo insignia attached to all ships of the Royal Australian Navy, but decorated in the colours and design of the Stars and Stripes.  That insignia has been attached to the ship and visible on the right.  The name of the ship and serial number is visible on the orange life ring.  A large, padded chair is visible on the bridge.  This image was taken on a cloudy afternoon on 29 July 2023.
The battleship U.S.S. Alabama, now retired as a floating museum in Mobile, AL. Shot taken from the bow directly in front of the forward gun turret, looking up towards the bridge and conning tower.
