Trafalgar Square, London, UK - Saturday, June 29 - London Pride 2024: Royal Navy and Royal Marines show their Pride in London - LGBTQ+ community. Deafening cheers from a million-strong crowd followed sailors and Royal Marines as they showed their support for the LGBT+ community at Pride in London on Sat, 29 Jun 2024. The streets of the capital were awash with colour and costumes as members of the UK armed forces and Ministry of Defence civilians joined the community celebration in their finest ceremonial uniforms.\n\nDozens of sailors and marines marched proudly past some of London’s most iconic landmarks, to send a message that the Naval Service welcomes all talent to its ranks regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.\n\nAn estimated 32,000 people including more than 500 LGBTQ+ groups took part in this year's parade that wound its way through the city from Hyde Park to Whitehall, past Trafalgar Square.
