Frankfurt, Germany - May 10, 2011: A worldwar 2 propeller aircraft of type Douglas DC3, so called Candy bomber, is standing at the public Airlift information spot in Frankfurt near Frankfurt Airport in special painting to remind people of the US supplying Germans with food during occupation of West Berlin 1948. It is equipped with information tableaus around its usage during worldwar 2 when it carried food and goods to the locked population of West Berlin. In German it's called Roseinenbomber and it is part of every story elders tell about WW2.
