Below the highest rim and deep down in the twisty steep cliffs of the Kanab Creek gorge is an unnamed pinnacle that stands tall above the canyon floor.

Still standing in a high cliff alcove framed by sandstone rock formations, the Eagle Nest ruins crumble to the floor below in the Ute Mountain Tribal Park located south of Colorado's Mesa Verde. The Puebloan ruins date from the same period, around 1200 to 1300 A.D.
They usually have steep, sloping sides and sharp or rounded ridges, and a high point, called a peak or summit. Most geologists classify a mountain as a landform that rises at least 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more above its surrounding area.

Spider Rock is a geological feature of a canyon in Arizona, USA. The Canyon is Canyon de Chelly. This is a National Monument.\n\nTo enter the monument you must have a Navajo guide. These Native Americans once farmed the valley. They lived both in the valley and in the cliffs of the canyon. Their drawings can be seen on the canyon walls and their ancient dwellings  remain evident.
