Wilayat Muttrah, Muscat, Oman: starboard view of the Al Said mega yacht (IMO 9463774) one of the 8 vessels of the Oman Royal Yacht Squadron, the Sultan's personal fleet of pleasure craft, operated by the Diwan of Royal Court Affairs. The Al Said is a mega yacht with a length of 155 meters. The ship, built under the project name “Sunflower” at the German shipyard Lürssen Werft in Bremen, was launched in 2007 and handed over in 2008. She took the name from the Sultan's previous yacht Al Said (IMO 7908433), built in 1981, which was renamed Loaloat Al Behar and transferred to Oman's Ministry of Tourism. Port Sultan Qaboos (PSQ).
