Hadrian's Villa (Villa Adriana; Villa Hadriana) - Hall with Doric Pillars - villa of emperor Hadrian near Tivoli outside Rome, Italy.
Rome, Italy - November 29, 2023: Construction of this neoclassical villa designed by Giuseppe Valadier for the Torlonia family started 1806. Benito Mussolini lived in the villa from the 1920s to 1943. The area with several buildings has been a public park since 1978.
The Hadrian's Villa (Villa Adriana in Italian) is a large Roman archaeological complex at Tivoli, Italy.
A suggestive perspective of the front side of the Tempietto in the courtyard of the church of San Pietro in Montorio, located on the Janiculum hill in the historic district of Trastevere, in the heart of Rome. Built in 1510 by the architect Donato Bramante, the Tempietto (Small Temple) is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, with the search for a perfect balance of shapes and volumes. The circular plan and the relationship between the dome and the colonnade recalls the classical values of Roman architecture, such as the famous Temple of Vesta located in the Roman Forum. According to tradition, the Tempietto was built to celebrate the martyrdom of St. Peter, which supposedly took place on the Janiculum. Trastevere is an iconic district of the Eternal City, due to the presence of countless artistic and historical treasures, monuments and ancient Romanesque and Baroque churches, but also for its squares and alleys to be explored freely, where it is easy to find typical restaurants, pubs, small shops of artisans and scenes of daily life with the original Roman soul. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle and high definition image.

A suggestive view of the courtyard and the porch of the Palazzo dei Priori, in the medieval heart of Viterbo, in central Italy. Built in 1264 as the seat of the civic government, the Palazzo de Priori was also used over the centuries as the seat of the Papal government. The current Renaissance-style structure was built in 1460 while the portico was built in 1541. Currently the Palazzo dei Priori is the seat of the Municipality of Viterbo (Town Hall). The medieval center of Viterbo, the largest in Europe with countless historic buildings, churches and villages, stands on the route of the ancient Via Francigena (French Route) which in medieval times connected the regions of France to Rome, up to the commercial ports of Puglia, in southern Italy, to reach the Holy Land through the Mediterranean. Located about 100 kilometers north of Rome, in the Lazio region, Viterbo is also known as the City of Popes because in the 13th century it was the seat of papal power for 24 years. Founded by the Etruscan civilization and recognized as a city in the year 852, Viterbo is characterized by its peperino stone and tuff constructions, materials abundantly present in this region of central Italy.
