Rome, Italy 18.07.2021 : The Goethe monument is in Rome on Viale Goethe in the Villa Borghese . It was designed by the German sculptor Gustav Eberlein on behalf of Kaiser Wilhelm II , who gave it to the city of Rome on the occasion of his birthday in 1902. However, it was the Italian sculptor Valentino Casali who implemented Eberlein's design in his studio in Berlin. The marble work was on August 5, 1904 in the presence of the Italian King Victor Emanuel III. revealed.

Rome, Italy, December 14 -- Two bronze statues made at the beginning of the 20th century in front of the house-museum of the artist Pietro Canonica in Villa Borghese, in the green heart of Rome. Pietro Canonica (1869–1959) was a famous Italian sculptor, author of important artworks made for mausoleums and monumental tombs still present in Italy, Russia, Turkey, England, Colombia and Argentina. Considered the green lung of Rome, Villa Borghese is the largest public park in the city with almost 80 hectares of extension, where residents and tourists can spend hours of relaxation and silence among tree-lined avenues, ponds and Italian and English-style gardens surrounded by trees and ancient pines. The area of the Villa Borghese includes the extension of ancient gardens the of the Borghese family since 1580, while the current arrangement of the park was completed in 1903 in neoclassical style. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in high definition format.

Rome, Italy, February 06 -- The beautiful Renaissance facade of Palazzo Torlonia, in the historic heart of Rome. Built in the ancient district of Borgo and later incorporated along Via della Conciliazione, near Piazza San Pietro, this palace was built between 1499 and 1517 to a design by the architect Donato Bramante (1444-1514). Initially commissioned by Cardinal Adriano Costellesi, the building was acquired in the 18th century by the Torlonia family.
