Migrants on pastures and golf courses on autumn passage (roost in reed beds).\nNests in tussocks on ground.\nComplex geographical variation in appearance, especially of males (at least eight different races just within the region covered).\n\nThis Picture is made near the Ijsselmeer Coast, where there are much mosquitoes on that time (Food for the Birds). There was evident Parent Care by the Adult Bird. The Parent watches the Young Bird all the Time.
