Since the 1700s, this baroque palace in Pilsrundale, Latvia has been subject to repeated attacks and repurposing. This palace has been a royal home, a hospital, and a school. Visiting this huge exhibit in Latvia will give tourists a better understanding of Baltic history and how it contextualizes tensions today. Additionally, the palace and surrounding garden is an absolutely stunning sight to see, whether you are taking a walk or a helicopter ride.
