Fossil remains of a fish dinosaur over white background
Natural agate surfaces, suitable for backgrounds and wallpapers.
Microscopic photo of a thin section of calcareous tufa of Holocene age.
Cheyletiella blakei Mite - Small Cat pest view under a microscope
Fossil of the prehistoric bird Archeopteryx. The historical significance of this theropod lies mainly in its role as the missing evolutionary link between reptiles and birds.
Some amoebas like this one form shells. Shell is composed of bits of rock (sand), diatom shells, and other debris. Fresh water. Live specimen. Wet mount, 40X objective, transmitted brightfield illumination.
Epidermis. Electron microscope micrograph of an epidermis spinous layer. The keratinocytes show polygonal shapes, central nucleus with nucleolus, cytoplasm full of keratin filament bundles, and numerous desmosomes crossing the intercellular spaces.
Aspergillus fumigatus is one of the most common Aspergillus species to cause disease in individuals with an immunodeficiency. This pathogen primarily causes invasive infection in the lung.
centropyxis aculeata (amoeboid organism) under the microscope - optical microscope x400 magnification
Trematode parasite under a microscope
Petrographic thin section under the microscope and with polarized light. Thin sections are geological samples for microscopy used in science and exploration. The rock is a particle limestone of Carbonic age from Europe.

The aggregating anemone, Anthopleura elegantissima, or clonal anemone, is the most abundant species of sea anemone found on rocky Pacific coast of North America. This cnidarian hosts endosymbiotic algae called zooxanthellae. Salt Point State Park, California.
Algae under microscopic view, Chrysophyte, diatoms, phytoplankton, fossils, silica, golden yellow algae
Mineral polished crystal stone shotting for design.
Fossilized dinosaur bones buried in the ground

Close-up of common frog dorsal pattern in natural ecosystem (Bufo bufo).
Toad skin - white background.
Host cells with spores (mold) are inside wood under the microscope for education.
Photomicrograph of Paramecium caudatum. Consists of only one cell. Live specimen. Wet mount, 40X objective, transmitted brightfield illumination.

Abstract Crystal background marble shot, nature pattern.
Microscopic photography of crystal and shell fragmets of marine creatures and associated limestone rocks.
Banded Sea Snake Laticauda colubrina on a outer reef swimming to surface, looking for fresh water. Sea Snakes need to drink fresh water and regularly come onto land for that purpose. The Banded Sea Snake Laticauda colubrina occurs in tropical Indo-Pacific. Males maximum length 88 cm, females 142 cm. The Banded Sea Snake is often seen in large numbers in the company of hunting parties of giant trevally (Caranx ignobilis) and goatfish. Their cooperative hunting technique is similar to that of the moray eel, with the Snakes flushing out prey from narrow crevices and holes. \nThis specimen was encountered in the Triton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, 3°55'0.7321 S 134°6'7.7298 E.
Transmition Electron microscopy of an epithelial cell where mitochondria of several sizes can be seen with the characteristic double membrane and internal cristaes. Mitochondria are believed to be of bacteria origin. It has its own genome and RNA and protein which are similar to those of bacteria.
Close-up of rock covered with algae. With copy space. Shot with a 35-mm full-frame 61MP Sony A7R IV.
