Nuuk / Godthåb, Sermersooq, Greenland: HDMS Knud Rasmussen (P570) Royal Danish Navy Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) moored in the harbor, Naalagaast street, pier 48 - The ship is named after the Danish/Greenlandic polar researcher Knud Johan Victor Rasmussen, who undertook several expeditions in Greenland. The ship was built at Karstensen Shipyard, where it was designated as number 400, hull structure built in Gdasnk by Stocznia Polnocna Shipyard. It is designed to break through ice sheets up to 80cm thick. Danish Arctic Command.
