The Athenian Treasury, a temple-shaped building where the Athenians stored presents (or offerings) for Apollo at the archeological site Delphi in Greece in summer. The ancient Greeks considered Delphi to be the centre of the world and marked the place with a stone monument, a navel (omphalos).
