As the sun sets on the International Border Wall at Tecate, Mexico, the towering fence casts a stark shadow across the rugged terrain. The wall, constructed of towering steel slats, stretches into the distance, separating two nations with vastly different cultures and ways of life. The fence glimmers in the fading light, a symbol of the complex and often fraught relationship between the United States and its southern neighbor. Yet, as darkness falls, the wall fades into the background, overshadowed by the natural beauty of the desert landscape and the promise of a new day to come.
