Karanlk Kilise, or the Dark Church, was a monastic compound built in the 11th century.  It is decorated with scenes from the New Testament:  Christ Pantocrator, Nativity, Adoration of the Magi, First Bath, Last Supper, Betrayal of Judas, Crucifixion, Anastasis. The  frescoes, depicting scenes from the New Testament, are the best preserved in all of Cappadocia and a fine example of 11th-century Byzantine art.   Goreme, Cappadocia, Turkey.

Hadrian's Temple door at Ephesus.  It is one of the best preserved and most beautiful structures on Curetes Street. It was built before 138 A.D by P.Quintilius and was dedicated to the Emperor Hadrian, who came to visit the city from Athens in 128 A.D.  Inside the temple above the door, a human figure, probably Medusa stands with ornaments of acanthus leaves. Ephesus, Turkey. Friezes.

Saint King Louis 9th created Sainte Chappel in 1248 to house Christian relics, including Christ's Crown of Thorns.  Stained Glass created in the 13th Century and shows various biblical stories along wtih medieval stories from 1200s.
Crucifix in the Cathedral of San Cristobal de la Laguna – also known as Catedral de Nuestra Senora de los Remedios – is constructed in a neo gothic and partly neo classical style in 1904 to 1915. It was declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. It is situated in La Laguna which used to be the main city on the Spanish Canary Island Tenerife.
